And if we don’t have the right machine in our inventory, our industry-known Halliburton Systems, Inc data management software allows us to locate the needed equipment through our extensive network of clients and companies. In addition to being a warehousing dealer, we also provide numerous other services. Extensive training in appraisals and valuations means Highland can price your machines according to up-to-date comps using industry standard practices. Meet Highland Machinery

Jim Patterson - member

After an education in plastics, Jim Patterson gained experience in machinery appraisals and valuations at an international auction firm. This knowledge helped build a solid background for understanding numerous machine processes, uses, and values. That background was then put to further use in the used machinery industry, where Jim spent several years refining his sales skills. Through personal and peer learning, he quickly developed an effective sales strategy based on helping the customer first. This honest and ethical approach, coupled with both his knowledge and sociable nature, has proven to be a winning combination.


C J Pawlowski - member

C J Pawlowski is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. During his final year and after receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering he was part of a two-person technology startup. His work involved research and technology development for innovations in motion control, as well as the design of a new infinitely variable transmission. Prior experience relevant to this business includes engineering work at a paper conversion and punch and press machine manufacturing company, as well as a full machine tool apprenticeship program.


Teamwork

Both natives of Southwest Michigan, C J and Jim have had experience working together for eight years. One of their notable projects was the scratch design, fabrication, and testing of a 400 horsepower off-road race car. While having somewhat opposing backgrounds, their own personal strengths shine through as their competitive natures push each other towards greater success on every project. And with mutually friendly yet clearly individual personalities, they work together to ensure that their products and solutions are always a step above their competitions’.
